Data Retention Schedule

This schedule describes how long Zera keeps different categories of personal and operational data. Automated cleanup runs weekly where noted in platform configuration. Periods may be extended where Ghanaian law, tax rules, or an active dispute require it.

| Device & browser fingerprints | 1 year | Used for fraud prevention and new-device alerts. |
| Analytics & page views | 1 year | Only when analytics cookies are accepted. |
| Abandoned checkouts | 90 days | Unpaid checkout drafts only; completed orders are kept. |
| Order & payment records | 7 years | Retained for tax, disputes, and legal obligations (~7 years). |
| Security & fraud events | 7 years | Investigation and audit trail for platform integrity. |
| Admin activity logs | 2 years | Staff actions on the marketplace admin panel. |
| Inactive accounts | 3 years | You may delete your account anytime from Privacy settings. |
Automated pruning runs weekly when enabled. Order and fraud records may be kept longer where law requires.
